New Year's Eve Gin Distilling Dinner at The Rummer Hotel
Posted on: 08 Dec 2016Usher in 2017 in the utmost style at The Rummer Hotel, where a seven course dinner is preceded by the creation of your own personal gin in their new micro distillery, which will then be enjoyed at the meal's conclusion - just before midnight.
This year has been about as monumental for The Rummer Hotel personally as it has been for the rest of the world. Of the changes to their apparatus this year, the installation of their very own gin micro distillery represents the largest addition and provides the chance to offer its patrons a very special new year.
Before sitting down, guests will be invited to choose their botanicals and taken to the micro distillery to witness the beginning of the process - with a G&T in hand, obviously. The entertainment put on during the gin-making is unlikely to disappoint either: an expertly cooked, seven course meal should keep you occupied as the alcohol is readied.
The menu, which samples several sumptuous-sounding dishes, can be viewed here. It costs £45 for seven courses, with an accompanying drinks flight an extra £25.
