Paul Weller Announces Date at Bristol's Colston Hall

Posted on: 07 Dec 2016

The Modfather will play at Colston Hall on the 1st April of next year, as part of a ten-date UK tour. Expect a setlist jam-packed with career-spanning hits from this, one of the country’s musical icons.

Paul Weller

Mod goals. The epochal genre-bender, Jam-fronter and all-around coolest man on the planet is coming back to Bristol. It’s time to get suited and booted: Paul Weller is coming to town.

Having both sat on The Style Council and jump-started The Jam, Weller has created two of the most enduring bands in popular music in a career which has seen him barely put a Chelsea boot wrong. The solo material that has resulted since his dissolution of the Council in 1989 follows the soulful lilt that this second project pursued, with tracks like ‘Wild Wood’ and ‘You Do Something To Me’ exploring the tenderer limits of the sideburned singer’s vocal.

The only fools on April 1st of next year will be those without a ticket to his show at Colston Hall, a venue which fosters fond memories of his multiple previous shows.
