Gen_X to Take Over The Crown for a Pub Rock Special

Posted on: 07 Dec 2016

Gen_X, Bristol's biggest alternative and rock night, is ready for a one-night residency at The Crown this Friday (9th December) for an evening of pub rock anthems. It might get messy.

Gen_X

Gen_X are Bristol's premier purveyors of everything alternative, with a musical remit that spans from the back-catalogues of Royal Blood to Blink-182, and Rage Against The Machine to Nirvana. They are, in their own words, 'all about rocking out, drinking, throwing the horns, dancing like no-one is watching and having fun!'

This Friday they are moving overground from their usual haunt of The Trap and taking over The Crown, the pub directly above it. This means access to their big screens and pool tables - as well as more room to pogo and head-bang - which should make for a special affair, especially when accompanied by the excellent drink deals to be found at the bar.

Entry is free. For more information, head to the event's Facebook page.
