Wild Beer Winter Beer Launch in Bristol on Thursday 24 November 2016
Posted on: 21 Nov 2016What better way to stave off those impending winter blues of dark and rainy days than by raising a glass brimming with the finest golden nectar - and you can do precisely that when Wild Beer at Wapping Wharf in Bristol holds its Winter Beer Launch on Thursday 24 November 2016.
The seasons may have changed for the gloomily worse, but that's no reason to get all moody and despondent, and with the delicious, rather palate-fresheningly wonderful range of launched and re-launched beers on offer, it won't be long until you're smiling like a cat who got the cream (or a person who bought the beer).
The six libations vying for your undivided tastebud-attention at the event will be:
Redwood - An barrel-aged, Autumnal, foraged fruit beer
BrettBrett - A 100% Brettanomyces feremented, West Coast-style double IPA
Wineybeest - Wildebeest, aged in Pinot Noir barrels for 9 months
Of the Sea - Lobster Bisque inspired beer (Lobster, cockles, seaweed, sea salt, sea herbs)
Smoke and Barrels Autumn - Toffee apple smoked Brown Ale
Beyond Modus - Modus Operandi blend, aged further in Burgundy red wine barrels
Situated just behind M-Shed with a stunning view of the harbourside and the Matthew, Wild Beer generally boasts an impressive line-up of 20 draft beers (in bottles and cans) specially selected from some of the finest breweries in the UK and abroad.
There's also a good range of premium brand and quality soft drinks too but - unsurprisingly with a name like Wild Beer - the emphasis is clearly on the fabulous selection of malt, hop and barley beverages, which include a top-notch cornucopia of pales, lagers and IPAs.
The Wild Beer Winter Beer launch will run from 12 noon until 11pm - plenty of time to immerse yourself in the unique and heady taste-world of some of the best, most innovative beers in the city.
