Hosting the evening will be Julian Hector, the new head of the BBC’s Natural History Unit. He commented on the significance of Bristol in making this and other shows - “Bristol has been the global home of Natural History programme making for almost 60 years so perfect to host the national premiere of Planet Earth II. Fans will get the chance to see this much anticipated landmark programme ahead of its debut on BBC One along with one of Bristol’s best loved treasures, Sir David Attenborough.”

Click here to register. You can register for tickets – max 2 per person - up until 10pm on Friday October 21st. Tickets will be allocated at random and are free of charge.

The BBC have pointed out that they will be offering out more tickets than there is space in the cinema – due to potential no-shows – so even if you are lucky enough to win a ticket, arriving earlier than the 7pm start time is strongly advised as a ticket does not guarantee entry.

Any further info you need is available at the ticket link above. Good luck to those applying!
