The term ‘gem’ is often thrown around today when talking about bars and restaurants in Bristol. However, I can’t help but use it when I’m talking about Glos Old Spot. This really is a secret little jewel that the city has to offer! Here are just some of the reasons that people from far and wide have been flocking to the bar and restaurant.

Their Ale Selection

With possibly the best selection of beers and ales in the city, you can never be disappointed when heading out for a drink in this unique little bar. Heineken, San Miguel, Fosters, Thatcher’s Gold, Symonds, Butcombe Bitter, Exmoor Ales Fox, Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and a good old Guinness are all on draught, with a rotating ale to accompany them. You’ll have to ask the friendly bar staff what it is each week though! With wines, bottled beers, spirits and cocktails to add to this it truly is a haven for a social drink or two.

New Menu

Head Chef Tom is no slouch when it comes to producing extraordinary food in the kitchen. With their new dinner menu launching on 17th October he is busy making sure seasonal and amazing flavour combinations are being put together. With such attention to detail going into their menu you can see why they have such a loyal fan base of foodie lovers and are clearing up when it comes to food awards.

Glos Old Spot change their menu frequently so make sure you check it out here to see what treats are on offer. Check out their main menu here, but don’t forget about the delectable breakfasts on offer too! Their Christmas menu is also now available by pre booking. You better be quick though as this has been a popular option in the past. Check it out here.

Event Hire

If you need a venue to hire, look no further. The Glos Old Spot is the perfect location for any event you have going on. Wedding, birthday or even an office party this is the ideal location for you to party away. Friendly and comforting staff help set a tremendous atmosphere and when hiring out the venue all you need to do is give them a call on 0117 924 7693 and all they ask is for a minimum bar spend! A deal that I’m not sure can be beaten in the city!

This truly is an amazing pub and restaurant. Having just had to great success of their second birthday party, they also want to give back to the people of Bristol and their community, which is you ask me is a nice touch. They even do a 10% for NHS staff and don’t get me started on the popularity of their Sunday roasts! The beer garden has been a hit over the summer and they are also finalists for Independent Casual Dining Pub of The Year and 3 Bristol Good Food Awards! I’m sure here at 365 we will touch on these plenty more throughout the year.
