Unleash the bunting and slice us some cake - Windmill Hill City Farm in Bristol will be pulling out all the celebratory stops when it marks its landmark 40th birthday this Saturday 24 September 2016.

 

Yep, hard to believe, isn't it? But true it is, and from 11am to 5pm you'll be able to partake in the party action to salute this marvelous charity that has been the place of many a pleasant, happy few hours for families exploring the farm and seeing the wonderful variety of animals. 

 

This free event will play host to a suitably fun combo of outdoor games, singalongs, street food, campfire cooking, puppet making, story tours, screen printing, history exhibit, human sundial designs, Farmer Tim's famous BBQ and smoothie bike.

There will also be plenty of live music from the likes of Max Harrison, Corky, Imprints, The Skimmity Hitchers and Dukes of Mumbai, and you'll even get a slice of delicious, free birthday cake. 

 

Guaranteed to be a great day out for all the family, this is a brilliant celebration of one of the most treasured and well-respected farming and education venues in the city.
