Sister Act at Bristol Hippodrome from Monday 19 until Saturday 24 September 2016

The Broadway and West End smash hit musical comedy returns to the UK starring Alexandra Burke (The X Factor, The Bodyguard) and will be stopping of at The Bristol Hippodrome this Autumn.Directed and choreographed by Craig Revel Horwood of Strictly Come Dancing fame, Sister Act is the feel-amazing musical comedy based on the smash hit movie starring Whoopi Goldberg and Maggie Smith.

Alexandra Burke and Craig Revel Horwood - Sister Act

Featuring original music by Tony and 8-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Enchanted), dazzling dance routines and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, Sister Act is the funniest and funkiest musical around.

The show tells the hilarious story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she won’t be found - a convent!  Disguised as a nun and under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own. A sparkling tribute to the universal power of friendship, sisterhood and music.

Tickets are still available for many of the shows but are obviously moving quickly! To book yours click here. Please note that Alexandra Burke will not be performing the role of ‘Deloris Van Cartier’ at the Wednesday and Saturday matinee performances.
