This will come as no to surprise to their loyal ‘Urban Tandoorians’ as the Indian restaurant has been dishing out amazing food for some time now and is definitely worthy of this recognition.

As one of the best restaurants in Bristol - not just Indian restaurants - Urban Tandoor is a real jewel in the city’s crown and somewhere that simply demands perfection. Set in the heart of Bristol, it’s the perfect venue for anyone who loves an authentic Indian meal.
With so much choice available in Bristol, reputation is everything. Reputations don’t get much bigger than a near-perfect Trip Advisor rating and forever at the very top or thereabouts of the charts when it comes to ALL, not just Indian, restaurants in Bristol – that’s out of nearly 1,200 listed in the city and surrounding areas. That’s quite a title to have and they want to top it all off by winning an award at the British Curry Awards.
Whilst the menu is packed with all your favourite curry-house classics, these are prepared and served in a more authentic and thoughtful way – this really isn’t anything like the drab offerings from the local takeaway on a Friday night! Presented beautifully, definitely a rarity for this type of cuisine, the food is the real jewel in the already impressive crown.
One taste of their famous Garlic Chicken Tikka starter and you’ll understand what all the fuss is about. Most people will have their favourite Indian restaurant already; such is the hit-and-miss nature of this cuisine, but we promise that Urban Tandoor will not only better your current favourite but also surpass even your highest expectations.
