The Football Ramble Live in Bristol - Friday 4 November 2016

Posted on: 18 Aug 2016

As the UK’s most popular independent sports show, The Football Ramble will bring the live show version of their twice weekly podcast to The Hen and Chicken in Bristol on Friday 4 November 2016.

Luke Aaron Moore, Pete Diggory Donaldson, James or Jim Campbell and host Marcus C Speller will take to the stage as part of a 6-stop UK tour. The podcast has been running since 2007 and a selection of live shows have taken place in and around the UK, Dublin and Oslo in recent years, though this represents the first ‘tour’ in the much-loved podcast’s history. Downloaded over 10 million times a year, and with fans the world over, The Football Ramble offers ‘insight’ that you won’t find anywhere else.

As the number one independent voice in the beautiful game, the Ramblers guide us through domestic and overseas football in a way that is immediately accessible. The Ramble is as much a comedy podcast as it is a sporting one but, in spite of the ever-present tangents, the foursome still manage to cobble together some wise and insightful words on the game. Perhaps the main selling point is the sense that these could be the same conversations you would be having with your mates after watching the game, just a bit funnier as one is an Arsenal fan.

Spreading their audio wings into the written-word arena, the guys are taking the show on the road in support of their first publication titled, The Football Ramble. Very 'on brand'. Nice.

The guys will also be visiting Leeds, Glasgow, Brighton, Cardiff and London on their merry jaunt. Tickets for every previous live event have sold out in double-quick time. There are still some tickets available for the Bristol show priced at £15 and are available here, along with the other dates. There’s also the opportunity to buy a ticket and book combined for £27. The book itself is available for pre-order over via this Amazon link.

The podcast, recorded on Monday and Thursday each week, is available via iTunes, Acast+ and a number of other ways, with all the info available over at TheFootballRamble.com. It’s also definitely worth giving them a follow on Facebook and Twitter
