Kid's Summer Magic at Smoke and Mirrors 15th - 20th August 2016

Posted on: 15 Aug 2016

Bristol's aspiring Penn and Tellers are in for a real treat when magician Mark Bennett invites the city's young apprentices into the Magic Circle for the Kids' Summer Magic School at Smoke & Mirrors in Bristol from Monday 15 to Saturday 20 August 2016.

A magician for over 23 years, Mark will teach Bristol's youngsters some of the most thrilling and astounding tricks of the magical trade, covering its history to sleight of hand and infusing them with enough wand-waving confidence to be the next Paul Daniels or Dynamo.

Mark will teach three or four magic tricks which will end with a performance in front of fellow musicians and families.

The course costs £55 which includes a £15 DVD as well as all the props and materials which children will be able to take home. A reduced price of £40 is available for bookings of three places or more.

Kids' Summer Magic School run from 9.30am to 1pm although the budding Houdini's should be dropped off at 9am so Mark can meet the parents. It's aimed at children aged 10 and over, but younger children can attend and learn all the tricks if accompanied by a parent or guardian for £25.
