Kids' Summer Photography Workshops at Shutter and Flash in Bristol
Posted on: 27 Jul 2016Each day throughout the summer holidays, Shutter and Flash are offering photography workshops for kids at their excellent Harbourside studios in Bristol. They will be guided through the exciting world of photography in a fun and engaging way!
We all know it can be a bit of a challenge to find new and fun things for children to do during the long summer holidays. The days are long and tempers are short so why not take a look at the exceptional photography workshops being run each day of the holidays by Shutter and Flash at their professional studios on the Harbourside.
There are two workshops daily: 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. During these sessions the kids will be guided through the world of photography and learn some basic skills. On hand will be some excellent digital DSLR cameras, along with some other models, and they will learn what particular settings can be used for to get that perfect picture. It's not just the cameras though, they will also experiment with 'playing with light'. All this info will give them a basic grounding in photography besides just the point-and-click of a smartphone. The culmination of the workshop will see the 'students' take home two 6'x4' prints of their hard work!
