Summer Offers at Bristol's Excellent Clifton Wine Bar

Posted on: 18 Jul 2016

Tucked away in the arches underneath the classic Georgian houses on Queens Road in Bristol you will find Clifton Wine Bar. Step through the doors and you’re greeted by the familiar warm glow of a welcoming bar…like you’ve been there a hundred times already.

The location is prime, set just back from Clifton Triangle, yet the outside décor is unassuming. This is a place many can and might well have walked past. But it’s to their detriment. Clifton Wine Bar is one of Bristol’s best restaurants and pubs.

The food is the real triumph here. Classic, homemade pub food is served daily. The pies, burgers, rib-eye steak and Sunday lunches are extremely popular...and there’s plenty more besides...

  • From Monday to Wednesday enjoy all their bottles of wine with 20% off.

  • Thursday is the new Friday with extended Prosecco offer just £2 a glass or £12 a bottle Thursday to Saturday from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

  • Pimm's ahoy! They're now serving glasses or jugs of Pimm's. There's also other various sharing jugs of cocktails to choose from.

  • No one wants a big heavy Pie on a hot summers day - or not too many of us anyway - so CWB's new menu includes lighter bites. Try the new summer menu including beautiful sharing platters and small tapas style dishes.

The ambiance is perfect and the welcome offered by the knowledgeable staff is more than cordial. There are options of secluded tables for a drink, a bar area offering all the biggest sporting events on plasma screens, or an intimate dining area. All lovingly decorated and each one seems perfect for your requirements.
