Bristol's graffiti fans can explore some of the most prominent sites of the city's street art when M Shed presents a special tour on Tuesday 19 July 2016.

Walk: Bristol Street Art will see local graffiti artist Rob Wheeler take you on a guided tour of many of the key sites that have firmly established the city as one of the leading exponents of the art form - our status elevated in no small part to a certain, mysterious chap called Banksy.

You'll mosey around the Bristol streets soaking up a range of some of the most innovative, exciting and thought-provoking images to ever burst forth from a spray can, from past to present.

The tour will incorporate a full appreciation and understanding of the medium, giving you an illuminating insight into the development of the street at scene, its key players, and the political connotations and heated controversies that go hand-in-hand with it.  A marvelous opportunity to walk the Bristol streets immersing yourself in one of Bristol's true artistic legacies, the tour will entertain, provoke, enlighten and look to the future of an art form that is revered and reviled in equal measure.

Running from 10.30am to 12.30pm, the walk will go from M Shed to Park Street to Perry Road to Nelson Street and back to M Shed. It will be at a leisurely pace and is suitable for people of all fitness levels.
