Baby Art Hour at Spike Island on Friday 15 July 2016

Posted on: 07 Jul 2016

Children under 5 can take their first tentative steps into the artistic world when Bristol's Spike Island holds its Baby Art Hour on Friday 15 July 2016.

Now a monthly event, children and their families and carers will be able to join artist Ellis Kirby in the Spike Island Cafe for a session involving creative play with shapes, colours and textures and simple ways to create using basic materials and techniques.

It's £3 for the first child in a family group and £1 for each additional child. Booking is essential. All the materials for the sessions are provided.

And as Spike Island Gallery opens at 11am, you can also have a wander around the latest exhibitions after the session if you like.

For more information about this head to the event page at www.spikeisland.org.uk. You can also keep up to date via Facebook and Twitter.
