We have 2 tickets to give away to the Slapstick Festival’s annual comedy fundraiser at Bristol’s Colston Hall on Sunday 12 June 2016. Join Marcus Brigstocke, Jeremy Hardy, Robin Ince and a host of unique top comedy talent.

 

Stand Up For Slapstick began as a means of fundraising the January Festival. After rejections and denials for funding from local authorities, hope was very nearly lost, but Chris Daniels and Graeme Garden took it in their stride and created the first SUFS in 2012. It has since grown into an established yearly event in its own right, and now welcomes some of the finest stand up comedians in the UK to Bristol for one night of the

We have a pair of tickets to give away for this great event. All you need to do is head to the Contact Us section of 365Bristol and, in the ‘Your Enquiry’ section enter “Get Me To Slapstick!”. Simple. Remember to include your name and email address! By entering please note we will add you to our 365Bristol monthly email newsletter and pass your details on to Slapstick to contact you too.

 

The competition closes at 4pm on Tuesday 7 June 2016 and we will inform the winner, chosen at random, shortly afterwards. If you aren’t lucky enough to win our set of tickets then you should still have enough time after Tuesday to get your hands on your own tickets...you won’t be disappointed.

 

Top stand up comedian Lucy Porter (Mock the Week, The Unbelievable Truth, Have I Got News for You) joins Marcus along with The wonderfully laconic Jeremy Hardy (Have I Got News for You, The News Quiz) the award-winning comedian, writer and champion of science & reason the inimitable Robin Ince (Infinite Monkey Cage, Book Club). Musician, comedian and author Mitch Benn (The Now Show) and stand up for slapstick favourite (back by popular demand!) Boothby Graffoe complete the initial line up for this exceptional event.
