Rugby 7s Tournament in Bristol in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Trust

Posted on: 02 Jun 2016

On Saturday 4th June a 7's rugby tournament will be held at Bristol Barbarians RFC with all proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Late entries are still welcome (contact Sophie on 07766250707) and there are already 20 teams entered in the elite men, social men and women's tournaments.

A maximum of 12 players per team will enjoy this great day and celebration of rugby at the fantastic Bristol Barbarians RFC facilities in Whitchurch. Entry is charged at a nominal £1 per car, with plenty of parking available on-site, or £1 per adult walking through the gates. Obviously this is all in the name of charity and fun so a few quid extra, here or there, wouldn’t go amiss!

The day itself will be perfect for families and groups of friends alike – plenty of activities for the little ones...and the bar will be open all day! Dogs are also welcome on leads. Registration for teams opens at 9am and the first games kick off at 10am. There is still a chance for you to enter a team, especially in the women’s competition. Just add yourself to the Facebook group and contact Sophie Davies for more info!

So whether you're competing or just watching it's going to be a great day and a great advert for rugby!

For those players and supporters looking to party afterwards head to BUNKER on Clifton Triangle - Use code SEVENS for reduced price entry, queue jump and access to VIP where they will be putting on some drinks for you. If there are lots in your group then send a text to James on 07817408334.
