Ever since a 17-year-old Nasir Bin Olu Dara Jones appeared on Main Source's 1991 classic ‘Live at the Barbeque’, hip-hop would be irrevocably changed. Two decades on, Nas remains an incendiary, outspoken and brutally candid rapper with a reputation for spectacular live shows.

Nas is always featured in the discussion when it comes to greatest hip hop artists and definitely lyricists. He has five number one albums on the Billboard 200 in the States, tying him with Eminem for third place among all-time rap artists. MTV ranked him at number 5 on their list of The Greatest MCs of All Time and fourth on their more recent list of  "Hottest MCs in the Game". Plenty of other publications have given him similar recognition over his 25 year career.

It’s always great when a huge act like this rolls into town. The trouble with that is that, as you might have guessed, tickets are flying off the shelves so act quickly. They are priced at £40.30 and available through the Get Tickets link above or via the Ticketmaster.co.uk event page. Doors open at 7pm.

Keep up to date with Nas via www.nasirjones.com his Facebook page and Twitter.
