St Nick’s Night Market is a Bristol institution. It combines all the things that make Bristol great – locally sourced and international food, diverse music, extraordinary entertainment and even circus performers thrown in for good measure. What ties it all together?...the feeling of community. It’s that underlying factor that runs through so many events in the city and makes Bristol the best city in the UK to live.
During the daytime hours, St Nick's Market is a great spot for a browse; ideal if you're looking for something specific from the many traders, or - and perhaps most vitally - the perfect place to go when you're looking for inspiration for any type of gift. Believe us when we say that many of the worker-bees here at 365Bristol have wearily wandered in and come out twenty minutes later with the perfect gift.
If you never get time to visit the market in the daytime this is your perfect opportunity as the usual traders will be staying open inside the market for the duration. Stalls include chilli sauce that will blow your socks off, fossils, toys, hats, wool, jewellery and luxurious chocolates. The Glass Arcade will stay open late with top local DJs taking to the rooftops to provide a soundtrack of beats to eat to. With the likes of Grill Stock, Pieminister, Eat A Pitta and Matina, visitors will be spoilt for choice. Not forgetting the epic jerk chicken and Moroccan, Italian and Portuguese offerings.
There’ll be no shortage of food, as stalls will be popping up along Corn St including vegan delights from the Spotless Leopard, tea and crumpets from The Crumpeteers, awesome dumplings from Ah Ma’s, fresh sushi from Temaki and proper cider from the award winning Dick Willows.Keep an eye out for the circus performers and live music on Corn St that will keep you entertained as you shop, eat and enjoy a local beverage.
