Vermillion Tides Live in Bristol

Posted on: 10 Mar 2016

Vermillion Tides will be playing at The Lanes’ Department S club night on the 19th March. Their psychedelic rock sound is relatively new, with the band only forming in 2015, but as individuals they have many many years of experience behind them.

Since forming, Vermillion Tides have been working in the recording studio with bass player Andy McKinlay and producers Andy McKerlie (guitarist and piano/organ player on the Folks album I See Cathedrals and bass player for Marion) and Yves Altana (producer and session musician for Peter Hook, Joy Division, New Order), DeStijl, Julie Gordon (Happy Mondays), Mark Burgess (The Chameleons) and I Am Kloot. Their first album is due for release this year, so what better time to get a taste of their style?

After their performance, John the Mod will be once again spinning all kinds of mod, Britpop, soul, funk, and indie anthems from the 60s through to the 90s, all the way through to 3am.

Tickets for the gig AND the clubnight afterwards are just £5, and £3 with an NUS discount. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

The Lanes is located at: 22 Nelson Street , Bristol , BS1 2LE
