Posted on: 18 Jul 2014

Masters of dance, Simon Ratcliffe and Felix Burton are back to doing what they do best! After becoming synonymous with the ’90-‘00s dance scene, tunes like Red Alert and Where’s Your Head At became Top 10 hits and an integral part of all DJ sets. Supremely joyous and irresistibly feel good, their legendary show is back on the road in support of their new, seventh studio album, Junto. Their progressive house rhythms and ability to create massive club anthems makes them an extremely popular hit among fans old and young.

Winning a BRIT award in both 2002 and 2004 for Best Dance Act, the duo have had their songs featured in films, video games and countless commercials, making their sound one of the most instantly recognisable in the genre. They have released five studio albums, composed the score for the film Attack the Block, and become massively in-demand remixers with artist such as Justin Timberlake, Yoko Ono, Janet Jackson and Sophie Ellis-Bextor getting their music spiced up by Basement Jaxx.

Never ones to shy away from volume and pulsing beats, Basement Jaxx live shows are well known for their intense energy and promise of a night full of dancing. The new album, Junto, will be released in August, looking set to be another dance music bible for fans of electro-pop.

Basement Jaxx will be in Bristol at the O2 Academy on 1st December, and tickets will sell fast so book yours now to avoid disappointment. For more information on booking visit the O2 Academy.
