Last week we started to feel a bit hungry and, realising our cooking skills probably wouldn’t hit the spot, looked for a handy takeaway. We had the pleasure of sampling The Red Pizza Company based in Hotwells and give it a huge seal of approval.
With it’s tangy and rich sauce, as well as a huge choice of toppings, Red Pizza is the best pizza company to call in town since it’s one of the few (if not the only one) to also deliver beer and wine. I mean, what else could you ask for? Great pizza and alcohol right to your doorstep? Forget the doughy texture of some of the big chains out there or pizza so greasy it almost dissolves the box, these boys deliver quality handmade pizza together with a few bottles of something to set you up for the perfect night in.
We sampled the Margherita and the Meat Head which had BBQ Sauce, lamb doner, meatballs, mozzarella, pepperoni, American sausage, smokey bacon and spicy beef together with garlic & herb dip… Just remembering the pizza already makes my mouth water!
Not forgetting the size! Proper Bristol big sizes - You can feed a party of 10 with 2 pizzas easily or have enough left over for a traditional pizza breakfast (we maintain this is a bona fide hangover cure).
