Peppa and her friends played lots of games and we were all encouraged to join in with each one. This included; singing songs, jumping in pretend puddles with real water which sprayed the audience, roaring like a dinosaur and catching a ball.

Peppa Pig is probably the favourite programme of all babies and toddlers around the country, certainly my two love it. When I saw it was coming to the Bristol Hippodrome on 7 and 8 October 2014 it was immediately added to my diary and the excitement of my youngest daughter and huge smiles made it well worth it!

***Last two performances on 8 October 2014 at 10am and 1pm - BOOK TICKETS HERE***

As we entered the Auditorium you could feel the excitement, Peppa Pig was coming to play!  When the curtains opened, my two year old daughter stopped eating her favourite snack and stared in awe. A very enthusiastic girl named Daisy started the show by playing hide-and-seek with Peppa Pig’s friends; Danny Dog, Pedro Pony, Susie Sheep and George. The audience were joining in screaming “over there” to help find her friends. The realisation that Peppa was still missing had the audience filled with excitement at the thought of seeing their favourite character.

When Peppa and her friends discover that the play room roof is leaking, they decide to set up a fete to raise money. The audience are encouraged to help them by joining in to raise money for the leaking roof.

Peppa and her friends played lots of games and we were all encouraged to join in with each one. This included; singing songs, jumping in pretend puddles with real water which sprayed the audience, roaring like a dinosaur and catching a ball.

Due to the time of day, my two year old started to get very tired after the first interval. However, the singing and interactions of dancing, clapping hands and jumping up and down kept her going until the end. Perhaps the only other negative I have about the performance were that the puppets were a little small.

Overall, it was an enjoyable performance with catchy music, colourful props and a lively cast. This show is a great way to entertain your toddlers and pre-schoolers.
