The genius of his one liners speak volumes about the man behind the bright shirts and crazy hair. He is truly the prince of puns.
Milton Jones is one of a kind, his performance at a packed out Colston hall as part of his “Milton Jones is out there” tour was a superb night enjoyed by all.
Never has someone been portrayed as so simple yet so intelligent, his absurd hair and quite frankly horrible Hawaiian shirts give him a slightly vagrant look. But the genius of his one liners speak volumes about the man behind the bright shirts and crazy hair. He is truly the prince of puns however his surprising use of the variety of scattered props was also quite unusual for a one liner comedian – these props elegantly broke up the performance and cut across the potential for a monotonous monologue of pun after pun after pun.
Chris Stokes also deserves a special mention, he graced the audience with a hilarious warm up act that featured jokes about his divorce and subsequent reflections on marriage and life in general. Stokes had the audience eating out of the palm of his hand and I’m sure many are keeping eyes peeled to see where his career takes him next.
