I?m off home to dig out all those Beatles hits to relive the magic again. ?Let It Be? is five star from beginning to end. I defy anyone to sit through this show and not tap their feet, clap their hands or sing at the top of their voice.

The opening night of Let It Be at the Bristol Hippodrome was a huge success. There was an electric atmosphere as soon as you entered the auditorium.  It was clear that the audience was eager for the show to start with couples twisting and shouting all the way to their seats. There was a mixture of ages, from families with young children to audience members who can remember the band the first time around.

The show began with ‘I Saw Her Standing There’, you couldn't help but begin to tap your feet. All the favorites were there and some you may not know quite so well, but will love by the end of the show. The sets were well thought out and really took you back to the heady days of Beatlemania.

The members of the performance were so well cast. I had to do a double take when I saw Reuven Gershon as John Lennon. Emanuele Angeletti looked amazing as Paul and his rendition of ‘Yesterday’ was breathtaking. Stephen Hill was fantastic as George and his guitar solos were something else. Luke Roberts provided a thumping beat as Ringo on the drums.

The cast really are hugely talented and seem much more than a mere tribute act - if you closed your eyes it would be difficult to tell the difference. The show was a non-stop rollercoaster of a ride through the Sixties with the fab four and it really felt like you were at a concert with the real deal.

The audience gave a standing ovation and shouted for more at the end. I’m off home to dig out all those Beatles hits to relive the magic again. This show is not to be missed. ‘Let It Be’ is five star from beginning to end. I defy anyone to sit through this show and not tap their feet, clap their hands or sing at the top of their voice.
