The party host was great with the kids and made them all feel like they had achieved something by handing out awards at the end. The birthday boy was also made to feel special when he received a voucher to come back for a free bounce!

AirHop in Bristol had always been on the list of places to visit with my little one. When Billy’s 5th birthday rolled around, and because of the great reviews I had read since it opened, I decided to take the plunge and book his party there for a group of 5 and 6 year olds.

Anybody who has ever experienced a party for a group of kids this age will know that keeping them entertained and interested at all times is rule number one! Luckily, AirHop and their staff did just that.

Located amongst the Cribbs Causeway complex, there’s plenty of parking and getting there is pretty stress-free. It’s also ideal for pre or post party shopping and eating should you like to. Upon arrival the friendly staff were welcoming and checked all the children’s ages for safety reasons before taking our coats, bags and even the presents to a secure room so us parents didn’t have to worry!

Naturally, some of the children were a little apprehensive but the staff and instructors were great with them and set them all at ease. From there it was pretty seamless as the children were ushered from place to place as they enjoyed the different areas on offer. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and – most importantly – the children had a great time. It’s also worth noting that the parents had a pretty easy time of things as they watched the young ones play...which is always a bonus.

Make sure to keep the children’s water levels topped up as it’s an active day to say the least and many won’t think to stop to even take a breath as they bounce, hop and tumble their way around.

Domino’s pizza was the food provided and went down a treat with everyone. It was a birthday party after all so great nutrition wasn’t too high on our list of requirements!

Unfortunately, due to the size (or lack of!) of the children the ‘Wipeout’ section wasn’t available. That was a bit of a shame and would have been good to know in advance but it didn’t really detract from the day, all things considered.

I would definitely recommend AirHop for a children’s party. 5 & 6 year olds enjoyed it hugely and I can imagine that children of any age would be just as happy in the great surroundings.
