Gaming heaven
Video gamers in the city can enjoy a night of pure consoling heaven at The Lanes' Waistman Weeklies event on Sunday 22 January 2017 from 5pm to 11pm.
Titles including Ultra Street Fighter IV, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, SFIII: 3rd Strike, King of Fighters XIII, Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, and Bazblue Chronophantasma. Other game ideas are welcomed, consoles available are PS3 and Xbox 360.
Although there are usually a few spare control pads and arcade sticks, the venue encourages anyone attending to bring their own. The event happens every Sunday and is always completely free, but attendees are asked to click “going” on the event Facebook page so that they can accommodate for numbers. Under 18s are not allowed in the venue after 6.30pm.
