The Vagina Monologues at The Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol from 27 June to 1 Ju

The Vagina Monologues is at The Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol from Tuesday 27 June to Saturday 1 July 2017.

The Vagina Monologues by American playwright Eve Ensler has been a theatrical phenomenon for the last twenty years.

Every year hundreds of productions around the world take place as part of a global campaign aimed at ending violence and abuse against women and girls raising many millions of pounds for charities which help women fleeing domestic abuse, support rape victims, or offer crisis counselling and other such services to women.

Based on real interviews, women talk frankly about their experiences of love, sex, childbirth and abuse, about being mothers and daughters, about being victims of sexual violence.

Eve Ensler condensed the interviews down into a riveting, exhilarating, passionate and hilarious piece of theatre about what it is to be a woman.

Enjoy!

All proceeds from these performances will go towards the following Bristol Women's charities
The Hope Project
Self Injury Support
The Green House Womankind

Tickets are £10 (concession £8) including booking fees.
