That Thing come through with a huge all-female lineup for their inaugural party.

Bristol collective THAT THING are making their Basement 45 debut with this one on Friday 8th March 2019, with tickets on sale on the door only and starting at just £5. Their inaugural Bristol party falls on International Women's Day so they thought the best way to mark the occasion was with an all female line up, which looks like this...

FAUZIA (NTS)
NTS Resident & Shook member FAUZIA explores the sounds of high energy club music spanning footwork, jungle & beyond. Her NTS shows have featured artists such as Mall Grab, Kode9 & DJ Taye allowing her to explore all the depths of club music. Making her Boiler Room debut this year, FAUZIA is quickly becoming a staple in London’s underground club scene.

FFINN (Slugwife)
Hailing from Singapore and currently based in Bristol, UK, SLUG WIFE resident DJ FFINN’s journey as a selector started over a decade ago when she made eclectic mixtapes for friends. With a keen interest in moving a crowd and with it, her freeform sets have the tendency to become unapologetically volatile on the dance floor, peppered with cheeky classics. Working in parallel to SLUG WIFE’s ethos, FFINN constantly seeks out various ways to blur the lines between genres in her music selections, with the firm belief that groove knows no boundaries.

Minnie Malloi
Hi there I'm Minnie Malloi and I have a penchant for old skool jungle. I used to DJ and organise music fundraising events in London and Suffolk before living in Bristol, Spain and now Sweden. After playing at the now infamous 'Seshlehem' tent at Rec Roc festival a while back, I now have a plan to take over the Stockholm free raves with some big old amen-filled bangers whilst no-one is looking. Can't wait to play some classics I hope you will enjoy brocking out to. Peace x

Misogyfist
The best DJ to ever come out of Watford (unless you count LTJ Bukem and who's even heard of him?) Misogyfists skills on the decks are second to none, she absolutely torn the place apart when she warmed up for Fracture at our first party in Liverpool last year. Expect 60 minutes of deep sub bass and frenetic drums coming in at 160 BPM

Miss Kendal
Miss Kendal is a strictly vinyl DJ, she's never recorded a mix and has no socials so I have no back up for this but believe me, if you catch a set of hers you're in for a treat. Drawing inspiration from the likes of the Dub One, Equinox and the Outside Agency, it's gonna get dark with mixing so tight you'll be pushed to know where one track finished and the next starts.

Runt Of The Shitter
With a taste for some of the weirdest, harshest breakcore, gabba and most things +200 bpm this is a rare opportunity to see the lighter side of RotS. On warm up duties for the evening, you'll be treated to some lovely electronic wonderments, if you get down early enough.

Bethbethbeth
Making her name by always providing the finest selection of deep and dark dubstep and grime, this DJ is not one to be missed. guaranteed to bring the energy and bassweight her radio shows and live sets have become known for.

Coxon
Since splashing onto the Bristol scene during the summer this girl is on an unstoppable rampage at the minute tearing up dancefloors with her garage and mutant vibes.

Kiki D
Staying quiet and playing her cards close, Kiki has been honing her craft for the past few years ready to unleash her own style of halftime DnB productions and an ear for tune selection that's already caught the attention of some of the scene s biggest players

MaryMissFairy
Mary Miss Fairy has the reputation for unleashing some seriously crunching bass lines on unsuspecting dance floors across the UK and Europe, equally content behind the decks as she is in the studio, her desire for all things bass is as contagious as it is compelling!

SOFA SOFA
Promising to provide an onslaught of UKG to set fire to the dancefloor. She'll be spinning the wax to get us skanking and ain't afraid to drop some bombs

Tansy
Hailing from New Zealand, Tansy's ear for neuro brought her to Bristol where she's been tearing it up with her unconventional sets and undeniable enthusiasm.

No advance tickets, £5 on the door before 12, £7 after with all profits going to the Bloody Good Period campaign via Aid Box Community, helping to tackle period poverty in Bristol's refugee community.
