Shlomo’s Beatbox Adventure for Kids at Redgrave Theatre in Bristol on 16 Feb

Shlomo’s Beatbox Adventure for Kids will be there at Redgrave Theatre in Bristol on Saturday 16 February 2019

SK Shlomo is a world record-breaking beatboxer who makes all kinds of music using just his mouth and a mic. Join this sonic superhero and become one of his sidekicks in a world of funny sounds, brilliant noises and cool music, whether you’re aged 1 or 101!

Acclaimed beatboxer SK Shlomo, and his incredibly energetic show, is like nothing you have seen before – jaw dropping, inspirational and totally absorbing. A Guinness World Record breaker, SK Shlomo gave up astrophysics to perform his amazing vocal pyrotechnics. It was a good move. Since then he has won global acclaim and worked with some of the biggest names in music including Bjork, Damon Albarn, Martha Wainwright, Basement Jaxx and The Specials. In the process he has continually pushed the boundaries of beatboxing, bringing the art form to new and unexpected audiences.

Raised on a strict childhood diet of orchestral percussion and jazz drums, SK Shlomo instinctively began making vocal music as a small child. He first found critical acclaim as a beatboxer aged 18 when he began touring with the award winning multinational hip hop group Foreign Beggars, and was named the “Harry Potter of beatboxing” by BBC Radio 1’s Tim Westwood.
