Rationale will be at The Fleece in Bristol on 23 January 2017

Raionale will be playing at The Fleece in Bristol on Monday 23 January 2017.

RESCHEDULED DATE 23rd Jan 2017 Official Statement from Rationale:

I’ve got an announcement to make. I’ve had an amazing summer so far, playing for you guys at festivals up and down the country. It’s been so inspiring seeing the reaction to my music, that I’ve started writing what I think are my best songs yet – and I’m really keen for you guys to have them on my debut album. It’s for this reason that we’ve decided to shift the album back a few months to allow time to get them recorded. We’ll also be postponing the accompanying live dates to January. If you still want to come see the shows, all tickets will still be valid. I hope the new songs are worth the wait. I’ll be posting one of them up next week, so keep your eyes peeled – and thank you for sticking with me!

Rationale With vocals that have been described as Tracy Chapman-meets-Morrissey, Rationale combined various stylistic influences with polished self-production. At the start of his career, he was shrouded in mystery, preferring to focus attention on his music and letting the man behind the sound take a backseat for a short while. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and based in London, he grew up listening to his mother’s records, learned guitar at nine, and started songwriting as a teenager. His first vocals appeared on songs by Bastille and Jakwob. It wasn’t until 2015 that he would release his debut solo track, “Fast Lane.” Little by little, Rationale revealed himself through music videos, which showcased his soulful, genre-bending style.

Tickets are £8 including booking fees.
