Planet of Zeus and Lionize at the Fleece in Bristol
Greece's biggest rock band, Planet of Zeus, return to Bristol, this time with USA's LIONIZE in co-headline position.
Planet of Zeus are no strangers to our city, following their storming set supporting Clutch at O2 Academy Bristol before their own excellent 2016 headline show. Well know for their signature heavy riffs, gritty vocals and unmistakeable grooves, the band have also toured extensively alongside the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Truckfighters, Red Fang, Monster Magnet and Brant Bjork amongst others, and at UK festivals incl. Bloodstock and Desertfest. Their latest album, 'Loyal to The Pack', takes the listener on a journey throughout the history of heavy music; from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Mastodon, The Allman Brothers Band to Queens of the Stone Age and AC/DC to Clutch.
Lionize are similarly rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, as demonstrated on their sixth album, 2017's direct and punching 'Nuclear Soul'. As well as tours and collaborations with Clutch, they have also toured alongside the likes of Orange Goblin, Bad Brains, Torche and also appeared at both Bloodstock and Desertfest.
Expect headline sets from both bands and plenty of riffs!!
