Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales at Alma Tavern in Bristol 27&28 April

Philip Pullman's Grimm Tales at The Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol on Thursday 27 & Friday 28 April 2017

Once upon a time, way back in the days of old, on the edge of a forest there was life - magical creatures, astonishing beings and blossoming nature.

The fairy stories of the Grimm Brothers have endured as the most timeless tales of all.  This year, the Knight's Players are proud to present a few stories from this extraordinary collection.

From beloved characters, such as Little Red Riding Hood and the twins, Hansel and Gretel, to sinister spirits; from goodwill strangers, to evil step-parent; from the lightest of melodies to the darkest of spells; from humble beginnings to fantastical ends - these are our stories for us to tell.

The Knight's Players is a youth theatre based in Clifton for children aged 6 - 14.  Established in 2007 by educator Ben Knight, the ensemble provides a wonderful opportunity for pupils to learn about, and engage in, the performing arts.
