My First Ballet - Cinderella at Bristol Hippodrome from 20 to 21 May 2017

A special adaptation of the well known rags-to-riches tale of Cindrella comes to Bristol Hippodrome from 20 to 21 May 2017.

It is a wonderfully adapted ballet version for children above 3 years of age. The story shows Cindrella’s stepsisters troubling her and she can only dream of attending the Prince’s glittering ball. Following which we see her Fairy Godmother visiting her, who changes her to an elegant Princess, perfect to attend the ball. We also have a narrator who shall help the young ones understand the story better, along with a compressed version of Prokofiev’s exquisite score, making the evening the ideal eventto enjoy the delight of ballet.

A one of its kind collaboration between English National Ballet School and English National Ballet where the choreographer is George Williamson and we have the wonderful performance by 2nd students of English National Ballet School.

More 200,000 people have enjoyed our My First Ballet series since its inception in the year 2012.

It is 'A gorgeous treat for kids and parents', says The Daily Express on My First Ballet: Sleeping Beauty.
