Marty Longstaff's acclaimed solo project to be showcased in Bristol in May

Left-field folk artist Marty Longstaff has announced a show at Bristol's Folk House on Saturday 5th May 2018, performing under his alias, The Lake Poets. The announcement follows the recent release of his exceptional new EP, Live at the Sage. Tickets for the show are on sale now, and can be found here.

The new Lake Poets EP consists of live recordings from The Sage in Gateshead, Newcastle, during a live show in the latter stage of 2016. It features the string section of the Young Musicians Programme, a project backed by The Sage itself, and includes a version of Your Face - a track which has racked up over 7 million plays on Spotify - plus five more songs from Longstaff's self-titled 2015 album.

Of the EP, Longstaff said "The Sage is one of my favourite venues in the UK and the place that every young musician based in the North East dreams of playing, let alone selling out. It was such a special night and I’m so  happy to have had the evening recorded. The opportunity to perform with the YMP Strings was too  good an offer to miss".
