Kraftwerk at Colston Hall in Bristol on 17 June 2017.

Kraftwerk will be performing on Saturday 17 June 2017 at Colston Hall in Bristol.

 

In the history of pop culture, kraftwerk have been one of those bands without them pop cannot be defined. The major features of Kraftwerk that they have a very revolutionized music, with less number of musical instruments, and they have inspired many artists like Depeche Mode, Ultravox, Joy Division, Daft Punk, Bjork, The Human League, Gary Numan, David Bowie and many more.

 

1960’s Florian Schneider and Ralf Hutter, they both met and took interest in experimental music and art scene which was dubbed by British media as “Krautrock”. They were influenced by Stockhausen and The Beach Boys, they revealed a number of albums of exploratory jam music before their classical album ‘Ralf and Florian’ in 1973 and Autobahn in 1974. In 1976 ‘Radio-Activity’ was released, and this album made the band popular in all over Europe.

 

During 70’s and 80’s they released various albums and continued their tour, lastly in 2014 Grammy Academy honored them with Life Time Achievement Award.
