Jon Ronson’s Psychopath Night at The Bristol Hippodrome

Bestselling author Jon Ronson is coming to The Hippodrome in Bristol on Friday 19th October 2018 for a very special show that recounts the adventure of a lifetime.

 

Jon Ronson is a journalist and writer of International best-selling books such as Them, The Men Who Stare at Goats, The Psychopath Test and, his latest book, So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed.

 

Ronson will be unravelling the funny, terrifying and utterly compelling events that led to his bestselling book The Psychopath Test.

 

Joining him on stage, will be special guests Mary Turner Thompson, author of bestselling crime book The Bigamist, and Eleanor Longden, a well-known Psychiatrist who made headlines after she graduated with first class honours in psychology whilst having schizophrenia.

 

The book visits purported psychopaths, as well as psychiatrists and psychologists who have studied them. Ronson also explores the notion that many governmental leaders and corporate figures are psychopaths. A look into themes such as controversial and uorthodox treatments, pursuing the journalistic coverage of psychopathology, as well as much question and critique, are only a few elements of the intricate book.
