Former Deep Purple bassist and singer Glenn Hughes set to play huge live show.

Former Deep Purple bassist and singer, Glenn Hughes, has today announced that he will be joined on stage by British blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Laurence Jones on the upcoming Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live tour. The run of shows takes place in October this year, kicking off in Bristol at The O2 Academy on Tuesday 2nd October.

The nine-date tour, which will also see Hughes and Jones touch down in Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester and London, promises to be a dynamic, energetic extravaganza, paying homage to his tenure with the legendary Deep Purple. One of the most influential rock groups in history, Deep Purple are considered by many to be one of few pioneering groups of heavy metal and hard rock.
