The Volunteer Tavern in Bristol is a traditional pub in the centre of the City that produces terrific food from their talented kitchen staff. Located at 9 New Street, beside Cabot Circus, it is an ideal spot for stopping in for food, drink and great company.

 

Every Monday you can get a homemade curry with rice, poppadom and a drink for just £5. Take your pick from chicken or chickpea with ginger and coriander rice. 3 extra poppadoms are a £1, as is Naan bread. onion Bhajis are 3 for £2 with Bombay Aloo (potatoes) also £2.
