Bristol Plays Music Summer Festival at The Colston Hall in Bristol on Sunday 2 July 2017.

The Bristol Plays Music Summer Festival is our annual end of year musical extravaganza. Now in its second year the festival showcases the talents and progress of our many ensembles, orchestras, groups and bands from BPM Music Centres across the city.

The participant ensembles are:

Bristol Junior Strings Orchestra
Starter Strings
String Group
Concert Orchestra
Symphony Orchestra
Wind Band
Junior Wind Band

Repertoire includes Jurassic Park, Radio Ga-Ga, Londonderry Air, and The Great Gate of Kiev!

Bristol Plays Music is Bristol’s hub for music education.  BPM believes in the power of music to inspire, teach and transform lives.  We want to make sure that every young person has access to music education activities and a platform for musical expression.

Through work with partners and venues across Bristol, BPM will join up opportunities for teaching, learning and performance in a way that everyone can access.  Our goal is to promote local music-making and our city’s rich musical talent.
