Bloc Party set to play seminal album Silent Alarm in full this June.

Renowned electronic-rockers Bloc Party have announced a Summer show at Bristol's Lloyds Amphitheatre on Friday 28th June 2019. Touring a special live adaptation of their hit 2005 album, the band will be performing in seven cities across Europe and the UK across June, July and August. Tickets for the Bristol show go on sale at 9am on Thursday 31st January - don't forget to set your alarm and book yours via the link below!

Formed in 1999 by Kele Okereke and Russell Lissack and established as Bloc Party in 2003, the band quickly gained recognition in the early-mid 2000s with their debut album, Silent Alarm. Following its release in 2005 the record earned widespread critical acclaim and was named Album of the Year by the still-relevant NME, nominated for a Mercury Prize and eventually certified Platinum.

It's that debut album that will provide the material for Bloc Party's 2019 tour, with the UK leg kicking off in Bristol at the end of June. Some of the band's biggest-ever tracks came from Silent Alarm, including So Here We Are/Positive Tension, Banquet, Pioneers and Helicopter, and so you can expect a huge show when Okereke, Lissack, Justin Harris and Louise Bartle play the seminal album in its entirety this summer.
