Rise Music is a regional chain of 3 independent record shops with sites in Clifton, Bristol; Beechwood Shopping Centre, Cheltenham and Crowngate Shopping Centre in Worcester.
Based on the Queens Road - more well known as the Clifton Triangle - they occupy premises with Friska Coffee downstairs. Rise is fantastic as their stores retain the feel of classic indie record shops. They have extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff and an extensive range of music on both vinyl and cd.
Alongside this they have also have a number of other products including their famous 2 for £5 cult fiction range, vintage clothing concession and a carefully selected range of DVD's and books.
Rise Music also help promote a number of bands that are breaking into the industry with regular gigs, a lot of which are free of charge to attend and you'll find further details on their website as well as listings through the 365Bristol events calendar.
