Bristol City Centre - closed to cars in some areas

Make Sundays Special is an annual event held across Bristol City Centre on specified Sundays throughout our summer of sun (we hope) and the 2015 event dates are shown below.

Held over 5 Sundays over Summer, starting on the 3rd May 2015, the city centre will be closed to traffic and in its place will be the same type of events as last year - street art, music, street games and other entertainment including; a new urban loop for people to run, cycle, skate, stroll, board or unicyle, dance groups, fitness camps, Tai Chi, puppet shows, street theatre, local history tour guides, judo demonstrations, comedy acts, plug in and play, choirs, stilt walkers and circus performers.

Make Sundays Special is the brain child of Bristol’s Mayor, George Ferguson building on the success of similar schemes in Bordeaux and Bogota. There will also be a wide variety of markets coordinated by the team at St Nicks.

The Dates for 2015's Make Sundays special in Bristol are:

Sunday 3 May
Sunday 7 June
Sunday 5 July
Sunday 2 August
Sunday 6 September
