Since then, Mead has become a veritable celebrity of UK musical theatre, starring in productions including Wicked, Chicago, Legally Blonde, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, We Will Rock You and was recently announced amongst the cast of Sister Act in the West End, alongside Ruth Jones and Alexandra Burke.

Away from the big stage, Mead is also a soap star, best known as Ben “Lofty” Chiltern, first in Casualty, and then in Holby City. The much-loved character was written specifically for Mead and was known for his charming clumsiness. Mead has also appeared in shows such as The Dumping Ground and Motherland.

For his upcoming tour, Mead will be supported by his outstanding live band and beautiful musical arrangements. This stunning set list will include such classics as ‘A Different Corner’, ‘The Power of Love’, ‘Englishman In New York’, ‘Grease’, ‘From Now On’, ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ and many more.

As well as Bristol, Lee Mead’s ‘The Best Of Me’ tour will drop by venues in Redditch, Colchester, Ilford, East Grinstead, Bridgwater, Newbridge, Peterborough, Scunthorpe and Blyth.
